I'm making a sponge cake for Spanish class -- how exciting! My silly teacher gave me the recipe (hey, Silvatine -- "recipis") in metric units, though; grams does not transfer into ounces in terms of food. And, alas, I just threw out my good crack cocaine scale.

So, the sponge cake that I am making is an American interpretation, and will not be in the least bit authentic. Hey -- it's better than microwaveable burritos.

Oh, and as a side note -- Eight Belles was put down just minutes after the race! That sucks so hard; I thought she was going to win.

You're welcome! And thank you; I enjoy graphic design, as well -- mostly I do it for fun. :)

When I saw your photograph, I thought, "Wow, that really does look like a horse." But I would have never thought of that if you hadn't mentioned it. I really like the style of the photograph, too. It reminds me of a newspaper photograph -- like there's a monster storming through the area, or something. Great job!
